Let me start by saying if you don’t know what the Whole30 is I highly recommend the book It Starts with Food by Dallas & Melissa Hartwig. The website Whole30.com is also extremely helpful. Basically it’s a way to promote health, weight loss, and reset your body by eating a lot of good foods and avoiding common foods that can have a very negative impact on you. I have been feeling like crap lately. Traveling so much has really thrown off my stomach and just wiped me out. I have about 33 solid days of being home before we are off again, so I decided to do another Whole30 to get things back in order. I really like the way it makes me feel: less bloat, more energy, better sleep, ect.
I want to make it easy for myself and you so I have the first 15 days already planned out. I promise if you meal prep and stay prepared it will not be as hard as it seems. If this is your first Whole30 you will probably get sick of cooking after a while. I know I did the first time but I promise the way you will feel at the end of the 30 days will make it all worth it. Of course there are a ton of ways to reduce the cooking, like making 7 portions of the same dinner and eating the same thing all week. Many people have great success with this method, you would only have to cook dinner 4 times this way. There is also an option on the website to have pre-made meals delivered. Another option would be to make enough dinner to have for leftovers for lunch the next day. You don’t have to be a master chef, I certainly am not and you don’ t have to have hours a day to do this.
